About Advocate4SEN
At Advocate4SEN, we are an experienced and dedicated SEN law advocacy service, committed to securing the right support for children with special educational needs and disabilities. Our advocates are trained in SEND law and provide clear, legally informed guidance at every stage of the process — from requesting an EHCP to challenging decisions through appeals and tribunals.
We understand that navigating the SEND system can be overwhelming, especially when the stakes are so high for your child’s future. That’s why we combine our professional expertise with personal insight gained from lived experience. We know both the legal landscape and the emotional realities you’re facing — and we use both to strengthen your case.
Our services include:
-
EHCP reviews and appeals
-
Drafting parent submissions and tribunal forms
-
Refusal to assess/reassess appeals
-
Support calls for tailored advice
-
Legal guidance rooted in the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice
-
We take the time to listen, understand your unique situation, and provide honest, practical advice you can trust. Our goal is simple: to empower you as a parent or carer, protect your child’s rights, and ensure their educational needs are fully recognised and properly supported.
Let Advocate4SEN be your partner in securing the support your child deserves — every step of the way.
Our Mission
At Advocate4SEN, our mission is to empower families and ensure that every child with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities receives the support, provision, and opportunities they are legally entitled to. We provide expert, compassionate advocacy rooted in both lived experience and SEND law, helping parents navigate complex systems with confidence. Our goal is to be a trusted voice for families — breaking down barriers, challenging injustice, and securing the right education for every child.

Chantelle Chapman
SEN Advocate
Chantelle is a professionally trained SEND advocate with a strong foundation in special educational needs law, having completed IPSEA’s SEND Law Training at Levels 1, 2, and 3. With in-depth knowledge of the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice, she provides legally informed guidance and advocacy to families at every stage of the EHCP process.
As both a parent and a professional, she brings a unique and balanced perspective to her work. Her personal experience of successfully securing an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) for her own child — despite repeated resistance from the school — means she understands the system not only from a legal standpoint but also from the emotional and practical challenges families face.
Through Advocate4SEN, she offers honest, compassionate, and strategic support — empowering parents to become strong advocates for their children and holding local authorities to account where necessary.
